Hearing on Certificate of Public Convenience of Necessity

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 5.05.110, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, that the hearing set for May 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., has been CONTINUED. The new date is June 23, 2010 at 1:00 in room 126, 1st Floor, of the City and County Building, 451 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. This hearing is regarding the application for Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity submitted by Prime Transport, a public transportation for hire company operating out of Saratoga Springs, Utah. Said hearing will be held before a hearing officer appointed by the Mayor.  All interested persons are invited to attend.

In accordance with Section 5.08.120, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, a hearing must be conducted before the Mayor or his/her designee upon the filing of an application, with actual notice of hearing having been given to the applicant and to all persons to whom certificates of public convenience and necessity have been theretofore issued and who are regulated under the same chapter. In addition, notice shall be given to the general public of the city by posting a notice of such hearing in the office of the city recorder.
